The Intermediate Technical Education Administration is one of the most important departments within the Ministry. It supervises 97 intermediate technical institutes, organized under 11 regional offices across the country. These institutes are managed by 1,510 staff members and enroll 7,515 male and female students across various specializations, including electrical, mechanical, comprehensive, engineering, and agricultural fields.
The teaching and training of these students are overseen by 4,361 faculty members, including trainers, teachers, and assistants. Additionally, there are 2,762 administrative and support staff working within these institutions.
These educational institutions have played a significant role in preparing and qualifying a well-trained technical workforce, actively participating in both public and private factories since the early 1970s across a wide range of scientific and vocational specializations.
