As part of its commitment to supporting excellence and encouraging innovation, the Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education honored participating students from the College of Mechanical Engineering Technology – Benghazi for their involvement in the Libya Digital Expo and Forum 2026, in recognition of their efforts and participation within the Ministry’s pavilion at this distinguished technology event.
The students presented a project that employs robotics technologies and digital solutions to support people with special needs. The project reflects the practical application of engineering knowledge and modern technologies in developing innovative solutions that respond to community needs.
The recognition was awarded in appreciation of the students’ active participation and outstanding presentation, which highlighted the capabilities of students in technical and vocational education institutions and demonstrated their ability to integrate engineering, digital technologies, and programming.
The honoring ceremony was attended by Dr. Ayad Al-Farjani, Director of the Human Resources and Training Department at the Ministry; the Dean of the College; Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Sharif, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs; Mr. Walid Al-Arfi, Director of the Faculty Affairs Office; Mr. Salem Al-Misrati, Head of the General Subjects Department; and Mr. Issam Bin Shatwan, Training Coordinator at the Ministry. During the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were presented to the students who participated in the Expo and Forum, in recognition of their efforts and contribution to the success of the Ministry’s participation, and to encourage them to continue developing their ideas and initiatives and taking part in scientific and technological events.
