Minister of Technical and Vocational Education Opens “Athar” Exhibition and Reviews Student Innovations at the Higher Institute of Science and Technology – Benghazi

As part of his commitment to supporting student talent and encouraging innovation, His Excellency the Minister of Technical and Vocational Education, Dr. Faraj Khalil Salem, paid an official visit this morning, Thursday, September 10, 2026, to the Higher Institute of Science and Technology – Benghazi.

His Excellency was accompanied by a number of directors of departments at the Ministry, and the delegation was received by the Institute’s administration, along with several faculty members and staff. During the visit, the Minister inaugurated the “Athar” Interior Design Exhibition organized by the Institute, where he viewed a range of innovative engineering designs, artistic works, and forward-looking ideas created by the Institute’s female students.

The visit also included an extensive inspection tour of the Institute’s facilities and various departments, allowing His Excellency to review the progress of the educational process and gain first-hand insight into the institution’s general conditions and development needs.

This visit reflects the Ministry’s strong commitment to advancing technical and vocational education outcomes, as well as its continued efforts to motivate young people and recognize their creativity and innovative achievements.

The Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education in Libya is the government body responsible for providing education and training in technical and vocational fields, aiming to qualify national cadres and enhance their contribution to achieving the country’s economic and social development.
