On Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the invitation of the Director of the Al-Wahat Office for Intermediate Technical Institutes, a meeting was held with the institute directors and some department heads. During the meeting, preparations for the final exams of the intermediate diploma students and the results of the transfer exams were discussed.
The discussion also covered the staffing and performance rates, the establishment of a program to reassign those placed in the general reserve as needed, in addition to signing attendance and departure registers on a weekly or monthly basis. The meeting further addressed the collaborators hired to cover staff shortages and the procedures for settling their financial dues, as well as the distribution of study seats and whiteboards according to student numbers.
The attendees also discussed opening new specializations that meet the requirements of the local labor market. The Head of the Technical Affairs Department presented a briefing on the maintenance program and future projects.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the attendees expressed their thanks to His Excellency Dr. Faraj Khalil Salem, the Minister, the Director of the Intermediate Technical Institutes Department, and all ministry staff for their efforts in developing technical education.
