Would you like to develop your skills in project planning and implementation monitoring based on accurate time and financial schedules?
This workshop offers a practical, hands-on introduction to using Primavera P6 for project setup, schedule development, critical path identification, progress monitoring, cost management, and cash flow analysis, concluding with a practical application based on a sample project.
Workshop Topics:
- Introduction to project management and planning using Primavera P6.
- Creating a new project and setting up the work calendar.
- Developing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Entering activities and defining durations.
- Linking activities and defining relationships.
- Preparing and running the project schedule.
- Understanding the Critical Path and Total Float.
- Reading and displaying project schedules and Gantt Charts.
- Entering costs and preparing the project financial schedule.
- Preparing and displaying Cash Flow.
- A simplified explanation of the Baseline concept and how to update the project schedule.
- Comparing planned progress with actual progress (Planned vs. Actual).
- Practical application: preparing and presenting a schedule and financial plan for a sample project.
