As part of the Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education’s efforts to strengthen cooperation with municipalities, His Excellency the Minister of Technical and Vocational Education, Dr. Faraj Khalil Salem, met in his office on Sunday morning, October 4, 2026, with Ms. Jamila Rahil Al-Lawati, Mayor of Suluq Municipality, along with a number of municipal officials.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Jibril Al-Maadani, Advisor and Director of the Minister’s Office, and Dr. Khaled Dou, Director of the Inspection and Follow-up Department. The discussions focused on ways to develop the technical and vocational education sector within Suluq Municipality and to identify the municipality’s actual needs in order to improve the performance of technical and vocational institutions and provide an integrated educational and training environment that serves the local community.
At the conclusion of the meeting, emphasis was placed on taking a number of practical measures aimed at strengthening support for technical and vocational education within the municipality and improving the quality and efficiency of its graduates in line with the needs of the labor market and local development.
